We are quite pleased with the results of this project. Gibson helped us design the seawall to protect our property and to prevent erosion. Crystal Bay Travel Park Seawall and Dredging Committee met with Eric and Mike of Gibson Marine Construction in April of 2010. Our project consisted of replacing approximately 285 feet of existing seawall, in our waterfront community. They developed a plan that allowed us to replace this with a new vinyl seawall, cap, and tiebacks, also removing and replacing davit pads as ordered. They were willing to work within our time frame (as most of our homeowners are gone for the summer) and the job site was very restricted with the homes being located very close to the seawall. This project started on time in July and they finished within the time frame as contracted.
Both the job itself and the clean-up process was quite labor intensive and the whole crew put forth an effort above and beyond our committees’ satisfaction.
It is the intent of this committee to complete this on-going project as our budget will allow, and we would not hesitate to work with this contractor, Gibson Marine Construction in the future.
